  • Legendary Entertainment has won the rights to a Pokemon movie and is partnering with the Pokémon Company to launch the first live-action Pokemon film franchise with a “Detective Pikachu” movie.
  • Lionsgate is planning to wrap up the “Divergent Series” with a television movie and a spinoff series.
  • “Snowden” Panel at Comic Con
  • Warner Bros. & DC Films bring Will Beall back to write the script for “Aquaman.”
  • Lionsgate has set a Sept. 16 launch for “Blair Witch,” the third film in the found-footage horror franchise, and the first in 16 years.
